Having invested in the latest cutting edge technologies, this Bank is ready to launch into a new wave of data-driven solutions.
The Role: Deliver on a broad range of architecture projects across multiple business and technology domains within the Group Treasury.Advise on future state of the data platform, data architecture, and data product development to ensure compliance within the Group Treasury.Formulate a data architecture framework using AWS platform and services.Optimise data acquisition, hosting, and consumption workflows.Create a data modeling framework and conceptual data model for the Group Treasury's APRA compliance solution, focusing on Liquidity and Capital domains.Develop logical and physical data models for various products and subject areas, such as Deposits, Loans, Leases, Commodity Swaps, Derivatives Forward Valuation.Design solutions to ensure consistent cross-domain data treatment across both Liquidity and Capital domains.Enhance the logic and classification of reporting parameters for data availability across various Producer platforms, bridging the gap between the current and future states.Implement master and reference data management practices.Review Domain Data Models following the principles of Data Mesh Architecture.Determine ownership of data transformations, differentiating between those to be managed by data producers and those by the Group Treasury.Utilise AWS S3 for data storage, Parquet files, Impala, and Hive for data processing.This is a Hybrid working environment: 3 days in office / 2 days WFH.
Ideally, you will have: 10+ years experience in data architecture, data modelling, data warehousing, and data management in modern cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).Strong knowledge of financial markets, ideally with exposure to the treasury data domain.Expert in regulatory reporting requirements.Prior role in an enterprise-scale data transformation.Sound like you?
