Position PurposeThe role sits within the Data as a Service department within Investment Analytics and Data Services (IADS) of BNP Paribas Securities Services (BP2S), and has become open due to the program STUART.The business mission is to support the migration of existing clients from legacy platforms and onboarding of new clients to the new platform "DATA@CCESS" for ESG Reporting, Financial Risk Exposure, Asset Allocation, Private and Public BORS, plus new use cases to be established, then support the related ongoing BAU and operational client service.The key pillars are:Work directly with onboarding clients, managing their migration, queries and training, plus UAT testingSupport the definition and build the new operating modelManage transition to BAU, then support ongoingManage service optimization and change management tasksCollaborative organization with project PMs and global working groupsThe role will be based in Melbourne with a focus on ensuring the satisfaction of the clients and supporting the delivery and BAU of an efficient risk-managed stable delivery operations model. The role will expect the candidate to communicate effectively with:Initial ClientsFuture Fund, UniSuperInternal partiesGlobal project teamsClient Implementation teamsGlobal Relationship ManagerProduction & Support teamsExternal partiesNeoxam - PM, SMEs, IT & Implementation teamsClients 3rd party data sources (custodian, private equity admin) and market data vendorsKey ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities are:Work directly with clients notably in onboarding and parallel run phases: training, UAT testing, explaining and validating results. This includes clients 3rd party data sources (custodian, private equity admin) and market data vendorsSupport the build of the Target Operating Model on the new DATA@CCESS platform, including process maps, SLAs, procedures, Data quality controls, RACIS, KPIs and risk assessmentsManage transition to BAU and support ongoing client queries and operational/IT support as each use case goes live, including building an oversight model for offshore support teams and 3rd party partnersManage service optimization and change management tasks for designated clients, and prepare and participate in service review meetings, workshops, training and system demonstrations.Collaborative organization with project PMs and global working groups, including 3rd party partners in the DATA@CCESS solution (Neoxam)Contribute to define the backlog of migration defined with Team and NeoXam implementation team.Support the delivery of all data as a service products to clients. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure provision of high level of serviceOversight responsibilities for Data Service activity based in our global operations hub in Chennai, and/or in AUTechnical contact point for clarification and resolution of reporting queries received from the hub location or the client, and main point of contact for resolution of issues with IT support teams.Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)Strong practical understanding of ABOR and IBOR with multiple instrument types, including derivatives and how they should be treated within investment accounting and performance measurementUnderstanding of data system architecture and systemsStrong practical understanding of Data Certification and the controls required to ensure accurate and complete data deliveryStrong practical understanding of market data indices (S&P/ASX, MSCI, etc), characteristics (duration, Greeks etc), and classification schemes (GICS, BICS, etc.)Knowledge of private investments and their specifics around account and valuationsKnowledge of performance, attribution, risk and other advanced investment reporting, and an understanding of the data required to support these calculationsProven client service skillsStrong interpersonal communication and coaching skills, capable of explaining, teaching, training in a highly effective mannerStrong People Management skillsAbility to mentor, coach and upskill teams to efficiently deliver on complex projects/programsPractical experience liaising with and explaining results to clients and internal stakeholdersExperience working within data analytics, middle office, investment and performance analysis or fund accounting environmentQualificationsTertiary - degree in finance or equivalentData related / CFA / CIPM / CAIA or FRM certifications desirable7+ years of experience in the financial services industry
