Data Scientist - Randstad

Overview:Join a team of data scientists, data analysts, simulation specialists, and engineers that are involved in end-to-end analysis of our clients' assets.
Specifically, you will be a part of a global team that uses data to identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities to improve asset capability and performance in the short, medium, and long term.
About the Role:Identify business and performance improvement opportunities across the BHP value chain.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the relevant business problems are properly defined.Investigate complex problems using a structured problem-solving approach.Write code and conduct analysis utilizing a range of technologies and techniques.Enable performance improvement by producing actionable insight from data.Confidently present ideas, results, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organisational levels.About you:Have experience programming in Python to:
Build descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive modeling.Perform structured and unstructured data mining.Perform dimensionality reduction and feature engineering.Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.Have strong presentation and communication skills.
Highly desirable:Analytics associated with simulation modelsBackground in optimisation/decision enginesWe have multiple roles available for an urgent start.
