Data Risk/Privacy Specialist

Leading Banking client is hiring for Data Privacy/Risk Officer! Long term role! Based in Sydney CBD!Job requirements:Identify and assess the current state for data risk & data privacy risk design;Identify the actions required for transformation to the agreed future state.Prepare & conduct workshops to agree actions with key stakeholders to achieve future state.Where necessary, provide expert guidance, oversight and challenge on all aspects of data protection and privacy risk strategy and compliance focusing efforts on areas that present higher data privacy risks;Build an overall implementation & communication roadmap and monitor execution.Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and make recommendations for matters relating to complex privacy issues.Provide critical advice on privacy compliance aspects with the aim to have a compliant path forward to lead in data analytics.Ensure the relevant Business Area views them as a contributor to the Business Area rather than a hindrance.Provide governance around privacy incident management, managing multiple issues, including complex and high-risk issues, ensuring they are contained, prevention recommendations met, incident register kept accurate, and incidents managed in accordance with the legal requirements of the data breach notification laws.If interested, APPLY NOW!
