This team does a mixture of support for the Data Platforms, infrastructure maintenance, and delivery of enhancements and bug fixes for data products. The Data Reliability Manager oversees the team of Data Reliability Engineers in a combined people and technical leadership role.Some of the things you'll do are:Service Delivery Management for Data PlatformsMonitor incidents and their resolution within agreed SLA.Manage the delivery of service requests.Co-ordinate change management activities related to Data Platforms and their infrastructure.Co-ordinate release management of updates to the Data Platforms Production Environment.Co-ordinate delivery of the above items within the ITIL framework.Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Data Reliability team and the technical support of the Data Platforms.Provide leadership and guidance to the Data Reliability team.Manage and deliver small projects in the reliability team which will improve platform stability and service delivery.Work closely with the Data Platform and Data Delivery teams to ensure optimal operation of the Production environments, minimize downtime from issues, and manage required maintenance activities.We're looking for people who have:Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proven experience in an Agile environment.Understanding and appreciation of data analytics technologies and practices.Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and deliver successful projects.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.High quality written and verbal communication.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience with data products and familiarity with data management practices.Technical skills in SQL, data pipeline, and PMO experience will be an added advantage.Inclusion at AGLAt AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
