The roleThe Data Quality Specialist will lead the implementation of the Data Quality Framework across the Agency and the appropriate reporting on data quality.
They will be responsible for contributing with expert knowledge to the establishment of the required technology to enable monitoring and reporting on data quality.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Document the lineage and establish specific controls for essential and Critical data elementsLiaise with Agency stakeholders to uplift data processes to align with Agency consistent guidelinesPropose and implement solutions to data quality problems, in line with the overarching data governance framework and other relevant policies and proceduresDesign and implement metric reporting on data quality dimensions for the Agency.Review and analyse data to identify areas of improvementMonitor and optimise data accuracy and validity - Implement process and systems to ensure data qualityDevelop and manage data metrics and reportsMaintain and update data dictionariesAnalyse data to find trends and anomaliesThe Data Quality Specialist will demonstrate strong experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and monitor critical data elementsSupport data stewardship and data governance principles and practicesRequirements:At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in a fast-paced and dynamic business setting.To Apply:To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold Australian Citizenship and have the ability to obtain and maintain a police check and NV1 security clearance.
