Critical decisions are made every day in our government. What if you could use your technical skills to help them make informed decisions? As a Data Processing Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide expert-level guidance and insight into processing and interpretation of foreign instrumentation signals. Your deep understanding of signals intelligence, combined with your technical leadership abilities, will drive strategic initiatives and enhance our intelligence capabilities. You'll lead processing development and interpretation of complex foreign instrumentation signals, including beacon, telemetry, and communication signals. You'll provide expert assessments of signal capabilities, technological advancements, and potential threats. You'll offer strategic advice and recommendations based on comprehensive signals intelligence (SIGINT) analysis. You'll influence decision-making processes by providing high-level insights and solutions to address intelligence challenges and serve as the primary point of contact for FISINT-related expertise. You'll share your knowledge with team members and stakeholders through briefings, workshops, and training sessions.
As a SIGINT SME with a deep understanding of the intelligence production cycle, you'll provide highly technical leadership to intelligence teams and organizational initiatives, use sophisticated signal processing tools, and independently develop scripts or innovative signal processing techniques to execute intelligence responsibilities. You'll oversee intelligence reporting, production, and database management.

As a Technical Analyst SME on our team, you'll lead our national intelligence clients across multiple domains, including deep technical analysis for new discovery, leveraging advanced tools and tradecraft, and obtaining a new understanding of adversarial technology developments. You will provide leadership and oversee a team of highly technical and experienced signals analysts with unique skill sets.

You Have: 6+ years of experience with digital signal processing (DSP), content, performance analysis, or RF signals collection 2+ years of experience in ground station operations Knowledge of SIGINT requirements and intelligence oversight policies Ability to identify, evaluate, and document system anomalies, or make recommendations for improvement to DSP systems and algorithms Ability to support 24/7 operations as required by staffing shortages or client direction Ability to obtain timely medical and psychological clearance TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience working with SIGINT, or 12+ years of experience working with SIGINT in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with advanced SIGINT DSP techniques Experience using specialized IC SIGINT tasking, collection, exploitation, analysis, and mapping tools Experience evaluating, generating, or modifying software scripts Ability to evaluate and document system inaccuracies and create recommendations for improvements Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Intelligence Studies, CS, or Mathematics Completion of SIGE3810/4810 or 452 Signals Analysis Courses Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
