Data Privacy Lawyer – 6-Month Contract – Australia

JCS is currently paired with a well-known corporate operating in the technology sectors. They are currently looking for a Data Privacy specialist to join the team on a 6-month cover.
With an international presence, this business is keen for someone to join the team in the APAC region (± 3 hours from Singapore).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Regulatory Compliance, Data Protection Policies, Data Security, Training and Awareness, Data Subject Rights, Data Breach Response, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Liaise with Regulatory Bodies and Consultation and Advisory.
Your responsibility will be to protect the organisation from legal risks, build trust with stakeholders, and ensure the ethical handling of data.
A qualified lawyer in a commonwealth jurisdiction.5+ Years experience in handling data privacy roles.Experience at large corporates/top-tier law firms.
