Reporting to the Data Operations Manager, the Operations team is responsible for data management and claims administration. Your main goals are to provide high quality administrative services to external clients and to support the data-driven ambition of the Life business by providing rich data.
Your Role Engage external and internal clients to understand their needs and provide solutions leading to improvements in client satisfaction and data quality Improve data flows by data and issue analysis Educate stakeholders on how cession and claim portfolios are performing by giving feedback on data issues, opportunities and solutions Processing of claims files and bordereaux; portfolio reviews; claims liability authorisation; data operations audits; claim provisioning and validating of cessions Cession and claim portfolio analysis including: month end reporting, testing/ regression issues Provide consultation and guidance to major projects Your Profile 2+ years in operational and data management Financial services industry experience and exposure to life insurance/ reinsurance is desirable Experience performing technical/data review work Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions) and knowledge of databases, programming and intermediate SQL (or similar) Experience in identifying areas of risk and improving process Sound understanding of working in projects 16% superannuation contributions Increased annual leave entitlements Flexible, hybrid working conditions Generous parental leave available from your start date Annual company bonus and spot bonus schemes Study support At Munich Re, we embrace and value the interaction of diverse backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and thought.
