What role will you play? In this Sydney-based opportunity, you will engage with stakeholders to determine data requirements, identify and resolve issues, design solutions, streamline processes, and co-ordinate testing and implementation of system/process changes to support consistent data quality for all consumers of our data. You will review current control frameworks to develop and implement robust controls, whilst navigating and interpreting a wide range of data sources to ensure that financial markets data is represented appropriately, including for complex derivatives.
You will complete periodic reporting tasks, analysis of reporting, and use system validation and exception/control reports to ensure the output produces complete, accurate, valid and relevant data that is consistent with regulations and internal policies. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in operational data reporting analysis and project co-ordination, whilst building a network across multiple teams in Macquarie.
What you offer At least 1-2 years of working experience within a finance or accounting role, where you have gained the ability to detect breaks, anomalies and issues pertaining to reportingTertiary qualifications, preferably in Finance or Accounting or other related domain, with a high level of academic achievement and knowledge of financial services or financial markets productsHighly numerate with an ability to critically analyse, interrogate, interpret and draw conclusions from multiple data sources, with an aptitude for identifying issues and determining solutionsExcel aptitude, with strong Microsoft Office suite skillsHave a level of confidence to convey complex and technical requirements to both peers and senior colleagues We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
