Database Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology) Analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.Evaluating existing data systems.
Establishing sustainable automatic analytical processes.Working with the development or Agile Delivery team to create conceptual data models and data flows.Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.Employing data modelling techniques to develop analytical solutions and make recommendations to business stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders and data professionals to identify and support process improvement opportunities within data governance and quality frameworks.Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross compatibility.Implementing data strategies and developing physical, conceptual and logical data models.Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.Job RequirementsDemonstrated ability to use best practice data modelling methods and suitable data analysis tools and techniques.Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.Knowledge of mathematical skills foundations and statistical analysis.Strong interpersonal skills - understands and manages client's expectations to deliver data-driven solutions.Proficient in writing technical documentation using appropriate templates/version control.Experience with developing data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data solutions within cloud-platforms.Job LocationCanberra / Sydney
