About the role The Data Specialist will support the transition from Microsoft Great Plains to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In this pivotal role, the Data Specialist will ensure data accuracy and completeness throughout the migration process, focusing on both ERP and CRM (Salesforce) systems. Key responsibilities will include assessing and cleansing data to identify inconsistencies and duplicates, participating in data mapping for a seamless transition, and maintaining data quality standards post-migration. The Data Specialist's expertise will be crucial for a successful ERP implementation and the ongoing success of the business operations.
What you will do You will oversee daily ERP data management, including input, updates, and maintenance.Analyse ERP data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.Ensure seamless integration of ERP data with other business systems.Provide training and support to ERP users on data-related issues.Implement and monitor data security protocols to protect sensitive information.Participate in ERP-related projects, including upgrades and new feature rollouts.Generate and distribute reports on ERP data status and insights to stakeholders.What you have done Strong expertise in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, with a comprehensive understanding of their data structures, functionalities, and configuration options. Especially Microsoft Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Demonstrated skills in data analysis, migration, and database management. Familiarity with SQL and data visualisation tools is a plus.Proven experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ideally within an ERP environment.Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions quickly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders and to document processes clearly.A thorough approach to ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Ability to deliver relevant training and support to team members.Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards related to data security and privacy.Strong teamwork abilities to work effectively with both IT and non-IT personnel.A dedication to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest ERP trends and technologies.If you are passionate about working on emerging businesses and want to bring your skills and put them into practice across different ERP and CRM systems, don't think twice-apply!
