Database Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology)Data Migration Lead needed within the FMCG industry for an 18-month fixed term contract.Your new organisation:We are currently partnering with an FMCG organisation who are seeking a data migration lead to help design and implement the movement of data from legacy systems into the cloud. The company offers an exciting culture with an array of employee benefits and the successful candidate will be working in an agile environment whilst spearheading a data migration within a complex environment.Your new role:Developing a large-scale data migration strategy including resources, timelines, and milestonesLeading all aspects of the data migration from mapping and assessment through to implementationManaging a team of data engineers and migration specialistsEnsuring data quality and availability is maintained throughout the processDocumenting and ensuring data governance is maintained throughout and after the transformationLiaising with senior stakeholdersSetting clear KPIs and performance metrics for the teamBridging the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat you'll need to succeed:Minimum 5 years' experience leading data migration projects, including solution design and implementationStrong understanding of end-to-end data migration processes, best practices, and toolsProject leadership and management skills are essentialIn-depth ETL understanding and expertise, with related toolsData analysis skills - both technically and non-technically for dealing with stakeholdersExpertise in leadership, teamwork, and stakeholder managementDesired, but not essential:Understanding of data governance and privacy regulationsFMCG industry experienceIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
