You will be contributing to our role as the national regulator to safeguard and protect older Australians receiving aged care services.About the TeamSector Capability and Regulatory Strategy DivisionThe Sector Capability and Regulatory Strategy Division sets the strategic direction and guides the delivery of our risk-based regulatory operations informed by high value intelligence, analysis and data. The Division supports whole of Commission responses to risk issues through regulatory policy responses and campaigns and facilitates sector performance through sharing information with providers and consumers.Intelligence and Analysis SectionThe Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) Section provides the Commission with the data, information, and intelligence it needs to deliver, assess and tailor regulatory operations to protect the safety, health and well-being of aged care consumers effectively and efficiently. Drive a strategic approach to our regulatory activity, aligned to expectations of government, consumers, providers and the community.Position DutiesThe Data Management Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of effective data management and coordination of data governance practices at the Commission, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives. The role coordinates our Data Stewards and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our data is trusted, secure, and readily accessible for operational and enterprise initiatives.The Data Product Coordinator is responsible for the development, management, and continuous improvement of the Commission's data products. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the Commission's data products which support data discovery, accessibility, and governance to enable informed decision-making.The Data Product Coordinator will collaborate with internal stakeholders, Data Stewards, and technical teams to ensure our data products are user-friendly, comprehensive, and aligned with Commission priorities and policies.The RBTIS Data Coordinator will support the RBTIS Data Coordinator Manager with establishing and delivering a strategic development agenda for RBTIS, and the day-to-day administration of associated development and testing programs. The role includes coordination of data requirements of the Business Units across the Commission, liaison, and arrangement of meetings between the Commission and DoHAC.The role will provide the coordination and administrative support to manage all aspects of the RBTIS work including, but not limited to prioritisation of work packages, follow up of outstanding requests, coordinating the RBTIS testing of changes, as well as liaising with the RBTIS Helpdesk and processing requests for access to RBTIS Streams.It should be noted that the primary focus of this role is on strategic planning and coordination rather than the technical development of data outputs.Position NotesOnly candidates who hold Australian citizenship can apply. Appointment is conditional on successfully completing a national police check.Security clearance (baseline) or ability to obtain one.Salary offered will be between APS6 - $92,970 - $104,883 per annum depending on skills and experience.
