Job Description: Data Governance Project Manager The Royal Melbourne Hospital Manage, develop and improve the RMH's privacy and data governance activities.Full-time, fixed term role for 6 months.Enjoy flexible working arrangements and a monthly ADO.We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced individual to manage, develop and improve RMH's privacy and data governance activities. Reporting to the Director of Information and Performance, you will enjoy a supportive and collaborative working environment, where you will call on your prior knowledge and expertise in privacy and data governance to develop policies, procedures, training materials and reporting mechanisms.
Your new role: The Data Governance Project Manager is primarily responsible for the management, development and improvement of the RMH's data governance and privacy activities.The responsibilities include redesigning processes and materials for data governance and privacy training and associated policies and procedures, developing robust data capture and reporting mechanisms, driving decision making and supporting organisation wide education campaigns.This role is required to champion change, lead initiatives and develop comprehensive innovation programs to deliver effective and safe data governance procedures.About you: Experience working in Health Service privacy and/or data governance role.Demonstrated experience in implementing organisation wide change and delivering education.Ability to work efficiently and autonomously to achieve goals and deadlines.Clear communication; both verbal and written.Proficient in the use Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint.Knowledge of Health Records Act and its application to Health Services.Benefits of working with The Royal Melbourne Hospital: Enjoy a respectful and values driven culture.Enjoy excellent work-life balance working in a supportive and collaborative team.Salary packaging, monthly ADO and Elizabeth Street office location, close to public transport.Interested in Applying?
