Support comes in many forms with a focus on intervention, prevention and education to make a difference in the areas of: Integrated Family Services, Health & Community Services, Victims Assistance Program, Early Childhood Education and Care Services, NDIS Services, Evidence Innovation & Practice, and Trauma and Recovery Services, to respond quickly to emergencies, disasters and emergent needs.
Reporting to the Director Digital Strategy and Data Governance, the Data Governance & Knowledge Management Lead is responsible for driving and communicating data governance policies, and developing and delivering our knowledge management strategy. This newly created 2 year position (potential for ongoing permanent employment) will form an integral part of the delivery of Windermere's digital and data governance strategy and enterprise ICT investment and uplift.

Job DescriptionNow, let's talk about this exciting opportunity! As an experienced Data Governance & Knowledge Management Lead you will join our Digital Transformation portfolio, led by a future-focused director with high impact multi-faceted results spanning a 25 year ICT career.
You will be a highly organised, excellent communicator with independent thought and initiative. You will advise senior leaders on data related issues through various forums and one on one interactions.
You will have strong leadership skills and an appetite to control work processes from beginning to end. You will encourage fast, but carefully thought-out results. A passion for developing new ideas, systems and technology, but also analyzing and improving the existing.
Excellent analytical and technical skills are essential as you will lead the Data Analysis maturity and adoption across the organisation.
You will provide effective and high-quality support for the program of works and foster a strong data safety culture through:
Building positive key stakeholder relationships with communityUtilising your experience and strong project delivery and facilitation skillsYour knowledge and experience of data systems and reporting outcomes.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, data science, engineering, or MBAMinimum of 10 years comprehensive IT function experience with the last 3 years at team leader/manager levelExperience with developing and deploying Data Governance Framework in organisation/sExperience with data, information and records management concepts and practices (e.g. DMBoK, Five Safes, data ethics, data privacy, Victorian Protective Data Security Framework, Victorian Government Information Management Framework)Ability to drive outcomes by influencing stakeholdersExtensive experience with knowledge management across several organisations for information ownership, centralised repositories of information, data transformation, reportingExperience in SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Salesforce and CRMExceptional in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, WordDemonstrated knowledge of current technological trends and developmentsProgram Management experience and qualifications viewed favourably (MSP, PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2)Understanding of organisational change management techniques (PROSCI etc.)A professional and customer focused attitude with a demonstrated enthusiastic and self-motivated approachLeadership and motivational skills, including proven capacity for operational planning and decision-making, change management and providing direction to staff and demonstrated team building skillsWell-developed Managerial, planning, organizational and communication (written and oral) skills with demonstrated capacity to lead and manage human and financial resourcesFlexible approach towards working schedules and situations and commitment to work outside of core hours from time to time (remote and on-site access)Awareness of the Not-For-profit sector and a strong support for the vision, values and mission of the organizationAbility to manage outsourced providers and consultantsFamiliarisation with or an ability to gain experience in associated Windermere databasesWillingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks - including NDIS worker screening check, Police Check, Pre-Employment Medical and Working with Children's check.
