Data Entry Officer | APS3 and APS4 (Part-time)Beaumont & Beaumont are seeking Data Entry Officers at the APS 3 and APS 4 equivalent level to perform data entry work within the Application Processing team of the National Redress Scheme in Canberra.
This role is an in-office role, available both full-time and part-time.
Successful applicants will receive benefits including accrual of leave (such as annual and personal leave), as well as 15.4% superannuation.
What you will do: Process paper applications and transcribe information into a digital form.Comply with relevant policy and processes including guidelines for processing data.Work effectively within a team.Demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with a high workload in a high-risk, trauma-informed environment.Have experience in data entry and/or data processing roles.Be aware of the potentially difficult subject matter, but be resilient and use self-care and well-being strategies, as well as engage with other supports, to work effectively.Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant policy and process frameworks for the processing of data.Demonstrate empathy and understanding and communicate effectively in a trauma-informed way.Assist in building a culture that is supportive of staff and your own well-being.Possess strong communication skills and follow directions.Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and targets of the team.Communicate confidently and present messages in a clear, concise, and articulate way.Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and be willing to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Vetting Agency.
Candidates should be aware that the National Redress Scheme receives applications from survivors of institutional child sexual abuse, and this role will involve reading and transcribing information and data directly related to that material.
