The Role As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of data movement and transformation processes across the department's cloud environment.
Your expertise in MS Azure stack technologies will support operational analytics and visualisation, empowering stakeholders with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data movement and transformation.
Design and implement data solutions optimised for performance in cloud computing environments, including Azure SQL, Databricks, and Spark.
Work with cloud-based engineering, storage, and analytics services to enable operational and strategic decision-making.
Create data visualisations using tools like Power BI, ensuring insights are communicated effectively to the target audience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from diverse sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Data Lake Storage.
The Ideal Person You are an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically the MS Azure stack.
You possess a deep understanding of data integration, transformation, and visualisation techniques.
Your experience with distributed computing and cloud infrastructure will enable you to excel in this role.
Salary / Rate An hourly rate of $120/hr - $150/hr including Super or Negotiable.
Contract for 12 months with 2 x 12 months extension options.
