Join WesTrac as a Data Engineer and be the backbone of our Data Platforms!
You'll design, model, and maintain datasets from diverse sources, driving insightful analytics and strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with a dynamic team of internal and external stakeholders to ensure precise data delivery and generate impactful business insights.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, model, and maintain datasets using CI/CD principles
Collaborate with stakeholders for accurate data delivery
Support analytics and data visualization

Location: South Guildford, WA
To be successful the following is required:

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field
Experience in data warehousing and analytics solutions
Demonstrated advanced skills in ELT (extract, load and transform) processes for Orchestration using Airflow
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with building models using DBT for managing and transforming data
Working knowledge of any programming language (Python and likes)
Knowledge in Change control using Git and release pipeline experience on GitHub
Understanding of query optimization, Structured Streaming, and Adaptive Query Execution highly regarded
Experience with the SnowFlake platform and Informatica Data Ingestion, Quality and Catalogue highly regarded
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Quick learner of new technologies
Organized, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills
