Data Engineer

Data Engineer Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will work on site with clients to design, implement, and optimise scalable data pipelines and solutions. You'll leverage modern data engineering technologies such as AWS Glue, DBT, Redshift, and Lambda to transform Lion's data ecosystem and support its data-driven decision-making initiatives.
Role Responsibilities: Collaborate to build and optimise data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into Redshift, ensuring high performance and scalability.Develop and maintain ETL processes using AWS Glue and Lambda to integrate diverse data sources.Utilise DBT to transform raw data into analytical datasets, enabling robust reporting and business intelligence.Implement and maintain data models and schemas in Redshift to support Lion's analytical workloads.Provide technical expertise and guidance to Lion's stakeholders on data best practices and technologies.Troubleshoot and monitor data pipelines to ensure their reliability and performance.Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.Hands-on expertise in AWS Glue, DBT, Redshift, and Lambda.Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and processing.Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments.Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.For more information and a confidential discussion please APPLY via SEEK and one of our team will reach out.
