Collaborate with the project team and a multidisciplinary engineering team on cutting-edge technology for mobile heavy mining and railway equipment.Oversee test data management and the data offloading pipeline for all Green Fleet projects.Develop standards for data signal naming, ensuring consistent naming and grouping across the entire data pipeline from onboard data loggers to offboard databases.Design efficient database architectures to store large datasets effectively.Manage big data in various databases (e.g., AWS S3, Snowflake, SQL, InfluxDB), ensuring data accessibility for all users.Create standard workflows and documentation for setting up data software and platforms.Oversee data logging software and specialized test data loggers.Work closely with Fortescue Technology and Automation teams to ensure architecture design aligns with broader business objectives.Qualifications and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience in designing and delivering complex data warehousing and data management solutions.Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.Essential experience with the MQTT protocol (Sparkplug B).Proficiency in Python, Java, and the .NET framework is highly advantageous.Experience with Confluence, Jira, and GitHub for issue tracking and version control workflow is highly advantageous.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC-UA, CAN bus) is highly advantageous.Experience with AWS, Azure cloud platforms, and the Snowflake cloud data platform is highly advantageous.Experience in developing report dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly advantageous.Knowledge of network, server, and cybersecurity best practices is highly advantageous.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Nicole Oo on 08 61511706 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
