Due to a new large enterprise wide transformation project, and several other initiatives we now have an opportunity for aData Engineer to joinour internal Development Team and the broaderIT team.Your experience in working on large-scale enterprise transformation projects involving significant core systems such as Finance and Operations, Enterprise Supplier Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Enterprise Risk and Incident Management will aid your success and is highly desirable for this integral position.
The Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, enabling Catholic Healthcare to leverage data for decision-making and analytics. The role encompasses data acquisition, integration and migration. Working across multiple enterprise wide Projects, whilst ensuring data quality and security across multiple systems.
Your role will include; Monitor and optimise data Pipelines, Data warehouse, Lake House and Data Lake solutions Ingest Required Data from Catholic Healthcare (CHL) Cloud systems as well as third-party sources to provide the foundations to inform business decisions and improve outcomes Utilise and optimise existing Frameworks, Ensuring data accuracy and compliance with CHL standards Migration of Data from Legacy Systems participating in our Enterprise Transformation Project Collaborate with CHL stakeholders to understand data needs and inform further CHL Enterprise Data Model development Ensure data management practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal standards, maintaining data accuracy and security Implement policies and safeguarding sensitive information aligned with legal frameworks Assist in the identification and capture of relevant enterprise data, in a consistent, compliant, and accurate manner, to facilitate reporting, monitoring, analysis and integration. Provide technical support and guidance through prototyping, testing, build, & launch of Power BI products. Work with our business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs. Manage changes to production and non-production environments The successful candidate will be highly motivated and organised individual who is solution focussed, and has exceptional analytical skills, together with the ability to effectively communicate, evaluate understand and translate business impacts. In addition to;
4+ years' experience as a Data Engineer Advanced proficiency with ADF Strong SQL and/or Python Skills Demonstrated experience with data modelling, database design, and ETL processes Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps Familiarity with Azure platforms (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, MS Fabric Platform) Understanding of industry trends, regulatory and compliance elements in Aged Care and their impact on data (Desirable) Understanding of software delivery frameworks including Agile, DevOps Knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL framework. Knowledge of aged care, health, or related sectors (Desirable).
