Data Engineer

Microsoft Data Engineer required for a 12 12 month engagement Your new company You will be working for a mid-sized Federal Government Department. Your new role As the Data Engineer, you will be primarily using the Microsoft suite of tools to build a range of analytics solutions. You will be documenting ETL pipelines and data lineage to ingest data into the analytics platform, including cleansing, aggregating, and modelling data. You will also be aiming to identify opportunities to improve data capture, linkage, transformation, and flow. What you'll need to succeed Experience with Azure services, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage / Blob Storage, Azure Analysis Services, and Data Bricks for analytics tasks would be desirable. Experience with Power BI and data visualisation would be an advantage. Experience with ETL, Data ingestion and Data Modelling A current NV1 level Federal government security clearance would be an advantage.
