All applications are being managed by Bradley Lucas at Hays Recruitment - ****** The Data Engineer will contribute to Adelaide Airport's Data and Business Intelligence (D&BI) capability focussing on data ingestion, transformation, integration & modelling. The D&BI team is a small and highly effective group that will provide real insights into the AAL business and help to transform our business into a data driven company. Business Identify data stewardship and integration requirements. Identify opportunities for D&BI to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, grow revenue and gain competitive advantage. Identify where D&BI can support analysis and reporting of company key performance indicators (KPIs) and related business metrics. Research and review emerging technologies to ensure that AAL remains abreast of contemporary thinking on D&BI technologies, infrastructure, systems and services. Discuss, inform and present on relevant D&BI to internal and external stakeholders. Participate at relevant forums to ensure that Adelaide Airport is at the forefront of contemporary industry thinking and practices. Team Contribute to the D&BI team as a key enabling business partner that facilitates data solutions for internal and external customers. Effective Collaboration with teams and business stakeholders to: raise awareness of the availability and benefits of AAL's data and business intelligence services. grow the company's data and business intelligence maturity to maximise the benefits from its data and business intelligence platform. Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts including dimensional modelling. Technical competency with SQL, Python, ETL, API's Familiarity with traditional Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence toolset Desirable Microsoft Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Azure Databricks Azure DevOps/Git for Version Control and Deployment Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Data Engineer) are advantageous.
