Data Centre Technician

Are you an experienced professional in data centre operations, cabling, and networking?
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Centre Technician to join our dynamic team in Canberra.
This role involves critical infrastructure support, including the installation of equipment, server rack preparation, and collaboration with peer teams and vendors.Negative vetting 1 clearance minimum is required.Key Responsibilities: Install equipment and prepare server racks in data centres.Perform data cabling and assist in updating technical inventory documents.Apply networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and VLANs.Maintain documentation and update rack diagrams with a high degree of accuracy.Key Criteria: Proven experience in a data centre environment or related field.Strong understanding of cabling, networking, and server infrastructure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.Active NV1 security clearance, with a preference for NV2 clearance.How to Apply:Does this role sound perfect for you?
