This role ensures our Enterprise Data Platform seamlessly integrates with our business-wide technology platforms and enables our analytics needs across the organisation. Leading a team of Data Solution Architects, this role is responsible for driving the design and implementation of robust data solutions that support our strategic objectives.
What's involved: Responsibility for the enterprise data platform architecture strategy in alignment with business goalsDesign and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutionsEnsure data architecture aligns with our standards and industry best practicesWork closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand solution requirements to scope and translate them into effective data solutionsEnsure seamless integration of the data platform with various business-critical technology platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and innovationWho we're looking for: Our ideal candidate will be proficient in various relational databases, data technologies, and cloud environments, staying updated on both established and emerging data technologies. You will possess strong communication and people skills, be articulate and persuasive, and effectively convey the big data picture. Additionally, you will coach and mentor the wider team in the areas of data architecture, data platforms and best practices.
You'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldProven experience in data architecture, data management, and data integrationStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesProficiency in data modelling, data warehousing, and data governanceExperience with cloud-based data platforms and technologiesKnowledge of industry best practices related to data managementYou'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.
