With monthly rewards and recognition Internal training and resources for you to continue to learn, grow, and achieve your career goals Yearly allowance for amazing Aussie merch Fitness Passport for access to multiple gyms and pools across Australia Let's talk about you To be successful in this fixed-term role as Data Architect, you will possess: An understanding of the telco industry Tertiary qualifications in a relevant computer science, applied Mathematics, physics, statistics, or area of study related to computer engineering, data science, etc. Microsoft Azure certifications desirable TOGAF certification or EACOE or equivalent desirable Experience (typically +10 years) in a similar data architect or solutions architect role within the data engineering domain Extensive experience in modern data architecture, lambda architecture, data lake/lake house implementation, and knowledge of BI concepts (i.e., ETL, dimensional modelling, data warehouse design, dashboarding) Extensive knowledge of query languages (i.e. SQL, etc.), database design, integration design, advanced analytics platforming, and architecture governance Strong experience with cloud-based data warehousing, data architecture, data lake concepts, and data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau) Strong experience in managing data pipelines (batch, micro-batch, and streaming), ETL framework, exception handling, audit framework along with monitoring and alerting solutions Experience with delivering on cloud environments (Microsoft Azure) Architecting, solution design, and productionising data science models, AI, ML models How will you support our "Why?" Your responsibilities will include: Building data models, architecting the data solutions to deliver modern enterprise data platform in Microsoft Azure platform; developing and defining solutions for data acquisition, storage, aggregation, provision, and consumption at various levels and environments Working with teams to assess data requirements and provide solutions aligned to enterprise data architecture and security principles Defining and designing modern enterprise data architecture including enterprise data lake, data warehouse, and data models Operating at both an enterprise and solution architecture level within the data, analytics (reporting), and advanced analytics (data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning) domain Defining and providing best practices, setting architectural standards, and design guidelines Evaluating and planning Data Implementation requirements and solution designs Ensuring all key stakeholders and key data domains are appropriately represented in the architecture and design process Documenting the Data Architecture and relevant artefacts Interface and collaborate with and support agile teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity of data requirements and appropriateness of design and solution Providing consulting services to various agile teams on the data solutions Working closely with the Data governance team to align with the data governance framework Ready to join?
