This role ensures our Enterprise Data Platform seamlessly integrates with our business wide technology platforms and enables our analytics needs across the organisation.
Leading a team of Data Solution Architects, this role is responsible for driving the design and implementation of robust data solutions that support our strategic objectives.
What's involved: Responsibility for the enterprise data platform architecture strategy in alignment with business goals Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions Ensure data architecture aligns with our standards and industry best practices Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand solution requirements to scope and translate them into effective data solutions Ensure seamless integration of the data platform with various business-critical technology platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation Who we're looking for: Our ideal candidate will be proficient in various relational databases, data technologies, and cloud environments, staying updated on both established and emerging data technologies.
You will possess strong communication and people skills, be articulate and persuasive, and effectively convey the big data picture.
Additionally, you will coach and mentor the wider team in the areas of data architecture, data platforms and best practices.
You'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience in data architecture, data management, and data integration Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in data modelling, data warehousing, and data governance Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies Knowledge of industry best practices related to data management You'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.
