Our objective is to build a robust offshore team to support and drive these initiatives forward.
We are seeking a skilled Data Architect with significant experience in Snowflake and/or Databricks (or equivalent data platforms) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and high-performance data architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent platforms.
- Develop data models and schemas to support business requirements and analytics needs.
- Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide guidance and support for data governance, including data security, privacy, and compliance.
- Optimize data processing and storage solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data architecture issues, ensuring reliable data access and availability.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve data architecture and management practices.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to ensure seamless data flow and utilization. SKILLS
Must have
- 7+ experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent data platforms.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing data architectures and data models.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
- Proven ability to optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics platforms.
- Relevant certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or other data management technologies.
- Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing.
