Our client, a large Federal Government entity focused on services, is seeking a
Data Architect .

They are responsible for the delivery of advice and high-quality, accessible social, health and child support services and payments.
About the role -
Data Architect
The Data Architect exercises a considerable degree of independence with work being performed under the general guidance of the team leader and the Director.
Duties
Provide assurance over data solutions and make recommendations to ensure compliance with relevant policies, strategies, and industry best practices.
Analyse, plan, and define data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data.
Lead the overall technical solution design of big data platforms to support business capabilities.
Skills / Experience
5 years previous experience working in a data warehousing environment.
A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Information Technology or data science.
Knowledge of Australian Government data policies and procedures.
