About the role
As an analyst of Data and Insights Governance, you will be part of the Data and Insights Governance team that supports the strategic initiatives and business objectives of the organisation. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the business units, IT, and external partners to ensure that the data assets are well-defined, understood, secured, and used appropriately. You will also help to implement and monitor the data governance framework, policies, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
In this role you will collaborate with teams to understand their data, systems and processes and implement the Data Governance Framework, as well as working closely with data owners, data stewards, data custodians and data users to define and document the data definitions, data lineage, data catalog, data dictionary and data quality rules and metrics.
As part of the team you will support the development and execution of data governance initiatives, projects and programs, such as data quality assessment, data cleansing, data profiling, data classification, data lineage, data security and data privacy.
You will provide data governance training, education and awareness to teams and promote the adoption of data governance principles and practices, keeping across latest trends.
To be successful you will have knowledge and practical professional experience working with data with experience with interpreting, manipulating, and analysing data in SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness. You will have strong problem solving and analytical skills with the proven ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of investment data efficiently with attention to detail.
It is expected you will have knowledge and understanding of data governance and stewardship including models/frameworks, practices & techniques, processes, tools & technologies.
