The Opportunity: As a Major Service Provider (MSP), KBR delivers project management, asset management, engineering and integrated logistic support solutions for large, long-term, multi-discipline and integrated work packages across the air, land, maritime and joint capability domains.
The Data and Configuration Specialist (as part of the broader Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) SME Team) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the configuration management processes and procedures for technical systems.
Responsibilities: Support the Maritime customer with their management of products and level 1 service support for existing and new enterprises.The provision of data analysis services to support Enterprise Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) adoption and improvement.Onboarding processes & services, including ICT, business & data elements.Support NLIS end users and stakeholders with application and data reporting support.Utilise analysis methods and tools to develop solution concepts for identified data misalignments and apply appropriate solution concepts for each misalignment.Liaise with client enterprises as required to seek clarification or provide guidance on identified misalignments and related supporting information.Ensure solutions are developed with appropriate OQE for review and the target client enterprise.Within each client enterprise perform data alignment re-work, if/as required, leading up to and after the set to work of AMPS and CMT-U and NAVALLOW adaptors/interfaces.Provide data analysis surge support to in-scope enterprises as directed.As the ideal candidate you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering (a related field or equivalent relevant experience).Proven experience in configuration management and asset management, preferably in the context of AMPS, CMT-U, MILIS or a similar environment.Knowledge of configuration management tools and software.Strong understanding of version control systems and best practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
