A Data Analyst will bring structure to our raw data, connect the data points between our external-facing and internal ERP systems and legacy platforms, resulting in clear and concise analytics and reports to support the day to day and long-term strategy of our business.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and manage efficient ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processesManage existing data sources and investigate and develop new sourcesCleaning and collating of data from our MarketPlace platformProduce Analytics for our products, services and MarketPlace platform. Connecting the dots between relevant platforms and data feedsAutomation of alerts and reporting to support the day to day business, presenting our biggest risks and weakness trendsInvestigate tools and best practices to store, structure and analyse data for MarketPlaceActively share knowledge and document defined processesProvide an overall increased level of automation within data systems and software platformDevelop and support the implementation of data quality improvement effortsRequiredAdvanced analytical knowledge of dataProficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methodsExcellent knowledge of relevant programming languages (SQL, Python, R etc)Experience working in Power BI and or other data visualisation tools (desirable)Experience with cloud platforms – AzureExperience in interfacing with APIsUnderstanding of or experience with machine learningTelecoms Industry backgroundWhat does Shields give you?Company bonus schemeCompany Phantom Share Scheme25 days holiday, bank holidays and your birthday offMonday – Friday 8.30am-5pmOn-site parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
