You will lead the process of gathering information from a variety of sources, validating key assumptions, and delivering unique data insights to support strategic decisions. What will you do? Create and evolve scalable, interactive dashboards in BI systems Apply critical thinking to break complex problems down into simple solutions Facilitate data cleaning, modelling and ingestion in a variety of data structures Leverage storytelling methods in presentations, dashboards and business metrics Become a domain expert and shape the growing Climate Tech ecosystem Support internal and external stakeholders with ad hoc data requests What you'll bring to Cecil Deep understanding of data modelling, analytics, SQL and BI systems Strong communication, storytelling and highly collaborative team-playing skills The ability to create a Proof of Concept quickly while staying critical of the reports you share with internal and external stakeholders Excellent troubleshooting skills: you're capable of finding the root cause of erroneous reports and data inconsistencies in complex scenarios Programming in scripting languages such as Python Familiarity with geospatial systems such as PostGIS, ArcGIS and QGIS You are an entrepreneur at heart: you have validated and launched a new idea from scratch whether as a full-time job or side project You have worked in a related field, or you have been passionately learning about it e.g. Climate Tech, environmental software Diversity and inclusion We leverage each other's perspective, expertise and working style to solve problems.Diverse perspectives are crucial for building better companies and products.We strongly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
