SALARY EXPECTATION: $75,000 - $85,000 p.a.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Due to continued growth, Warrikal are currently seeking a Data Analyst – Procurement to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in West Perth.
This new position will be focused on supporting our Procurement function and will work closely with our finance team.
Your responsibilities will include: Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Assist in the implementation of cost saving initiatives and related processes.
Develop self-service tools and business intelligence software including PowerBI, SAP Factors and excel.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop strategic procurement plans.
Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement activities.
Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.
Implement system improvement initiatives to optimise operational efficiency and align with contemporary practices.
Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.
Identify, Investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices and make recommendations to align with the business strategic objective.
ABOUT YOU: Bachelor or higher degree in Data Science, Data Analytics or other relevant discipline.
5+ years' experience in business improvement roles in supply chain or related fields would be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
Prove experience using accounting software including Pronto, Microsoft power BI, SAP factors is desirable.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.
