Baseline security clearance required ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC – Can be performed remotely 12+24 month Federal Government contract Our client, a Federal Government Agency who manage biosecurity risks to Australia to protect our multi-billion-dollar industries and our way of life, is seeking Multiple Data Analyst's to join their team.
Duties: Working with business, project leads, and product stakeholders to understand their needs for monitoring, covering service level expectations and current pain points for alerting and notification, through to detailed information products required by developers (e.g.
logs) and reports.
Lead technical integration of the log aggregator (Splunk ITSI) solution and develop correlation of large data sets for effective event management.
Analyse and document stakeholder requirements, translating them into specific monitoring Splunk ITSI Service Decomposition objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Criteria: Extensive experience in identifying and documenting business-related requirements for monitoring solutions such as quality of service characteristics (including availability, reliability, response times and run times, capacity, scalability, and throughput) and obtaining business value through data analysis and identification of pain points.
Experience working with log analytics tools, such as Splunk, Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), Elastic and Azure Log Analytics, SCOM, AppDynamics, and developing database queries such as SQL Server and Oracle DBMS .
Experience working in a team that was developing a Splunk ISTI solution for an Enterprise Operations Centre, or similar – NOC, SOC.
Experience in developing Data integrations with Service Now is highly desirable.
