We are now seeking a passionate and capable Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our Purpose.About the Opportunity:Join RAAFA today as our Data Analyst to help deliver relevant insights to support strategic business decisions.
You will help facilitate data driven decision making, identify trends, patterns and insights through the design and development of business intelligence solutions and dashboards.Key Responsibilities:Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and objectives to deliver and provide insights and high-quality data analytics.Design and develop business intelligence solutions, informative reports and dashboards, summarising key metrics and insights, providing recommendations based on data analysis.Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness, through data cleansing to eliminate errors and inconsistencies, and transform data into a usable format for analysis and/or information.Assist in the design, development and implementation of data warehousing solutions.Assist in maintaining a high standard in data integrity through auditing and support, including troubleshooting inconsistencies.Monitor and optimise the performance of business intelligence systems.Utilise statistical methods to extract meaningful patterns and trends and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify key insights.Strong commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and adhering to privacy standards.Ability to translate requirements and business logics into Power BI solutions.Troubleshoot & resolve issues with Power BI reports & Data Pipelines.Provide support in the development and delivery of the reporting framework.Responsibility to comply with all RAAFA Policies and Procedures and all reasonable management directions.Undertake other tasks for the Business Systems Manager and/or Chief Information Officer as required.Why Join Us:Competitive Salary: Attractive pay rates with salary packaging benefits (up to $15,899)!Free Onsite Parking: Enjoy free parking at all our locations.Career Growth: Continuous professional development and opportunities for career progression.Employee Assistance Program: Access confidential support for personal or work-related matters.Referral Program: Earn bonuses for referring friends to join our team.Exclusive Discounts: Health insurance, gym memberships, and more.Free Zoo Membership: Enjoy complimentary access to the Perth Zoo.Supportive Culture: Work in a positive, collaborative environment that values teamwork and mutual respect.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer/Data Science, or a related discipline (preferred).Proven experience as a BI or Data Analyst or in a similar role.Experience working with API, Data Flows, MS Fabric, Python, Power Query and DAX will be an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Working experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with database management and SQL.Familiarity with industry-specific data and trends (preferred).Knowledge of machine learning techniques (preferred).Effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of an organisation from operational, managerial, and executive.Critical thinking, with strong demonstrated ability to understand and analyse and problem solve, with the ability to develop meaningful insights to inform and facilitate decision making.Excellent reporting and dashboard development skills with experience in the aged care industry will be an advantage.Experience with working with large data sets.How to Apply:Update your resume.Be eligible to work in Australia.Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one.Be up to date with your Flu Vaccinations.Click "Apply to this Job".For more information, please call or email us on 08 9288 8410 or ****** WA reserves the right to withdraw, shortlist and interview applicants prior.
