Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)Working for this large government department as a Data Analyst, you will be part of the People & Culture team.
Your role will be to develop reporting and analytical capability to enable decision making and insight to the business by connecting P&C metrics to business unit and corporate strategy delivery and self-service access to information where possible.Key ActivitiesCollaborate with the P&C division to provide the data, analysis, and insights required to deliver the organisation's corporate and strategic objectives.Prepare and deliver high-quality written reports/statistical analysis for input to papers, presentations, and other material on behalf of the P&C function.Deliver and evolve integrated workforce reporting to the business utilising all available data sources.Manage and co-ordinate all corporate workforce reporting such as monthly reporting, board reporting, and annual reporting.Build reporting tools to enable the business to use data more efficiently and ensure accessibility to reporting and analysis.Develop and maintain knowledge of the P&C's strategic initiatives and business-as-usual activities and performance.Assume a continuous improvement approach to P&C reporting and metrics to ensure reports are constantly evolving to meet business needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity within P&C systems.Key Skills and ExperienceProven experience in a Data Analyst role within HR or P&C functions.Advanced Excel spreadsheet design, management, and analysis.In-depth knowledge of data manipulation and analysis.Ability to undertake effective research and analyse material from a wide range of sources.Proficient in the extraction of data from HRMIS (Aurion desirable).Demonstrated project management skills including excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.Experience in leveraging multiple data sources to build theories and validate contentions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
