The purpose of Everyday Banking is to provide products that are simple, easy to use, and enable our customers to bank with confidence.
We do this through the design, manufacture, and management of a simple range of products to bring the customer proposition to life for our retail customers.As a Data Analyst in Customer Lifecycle and Wealth, your role is to provide data-led insight to support the creation of strategy, analytics, and reporting pertaining to customer engagement and performance analytics within the Everyday Banking products suite (Deposits, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, and Wealth).Role Type: 12 months Fixed TermRole Location: MelbourneWork Hours: Full time/ Blended working modelWhat will your day look like?As a Data Analyst, you will surface data insights and communicate this to stakeholders utilizing packs, dashboards extracts, and tell a story to the business to understand how we can uplift engagement, stay compliant, and report on past performance.
You will also:Liaise with product owners and Journey Experts to understand business problemsSource and analyze customer/account data to support the resolution of any issues identifiedAttend stand-up to align progress on your individual tasksWork in collaborative teams to explore business initiativesSupport individual missions of Squads through data analysisCollaborate across the data chapter and retail analytics to uplift the overall data capabilityWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Recent and extensive Data Analyst experience in a Data Analyst roleBackground and experience in products (Credit Card, Personal Loan, Deposits, Wealth)Analytical & problem-solving skills to understand the detail of business questions across customer engagement, remediation, and complianceAbility to work with raw/unorganized data sets to obtain required informationHands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation, and presentation (e.g.
SQL, Python, Cloud)Strong customer lens and affinityAnalytical and inquisitive mindset to continuously improve the level of insight surfacedStrong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendationsThorough approach to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracyAbility to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa)You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
