The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with specialized procurement experience and an in-depth understanding of the ASDEFCON (Australian Standard for Defence Contracting) template suite.
This pivotal role will support the ASDEFCON Digitisation Project, aimed at revising and simplifying our suite of contracts.
Your contributions will directly influence the effectiveness of defense procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities: Drive best practice project management and compliant procurement activities.Engage with stakeholders to identify existing or alternative software solutions that align with project deliverables.Define software requirements and develop procurement documentation using Defence-specific templates.Collaborate with relevant areas to advance procurement activities and report to the Director of ACI.Assist with tender evaluation activities and process mapping to support ASDEFCON digitisation.Who You Are: The ideal candidate will possess:
Deep Understanding of ASDEFCON: Comprehensive knowledge of ASDEFCON templates and recent experience with developing and tailoring ASDEFCON-based contracts in a defense environment.Analytical Skills: Proven experience in business/systems analysis, requirement elicitation, and problem-solving.Communication Proficiency: Strong written and verbal skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Business Information Systems or similar, and/or Business Analysis certification.Must hold a Defence Clearance of Baseline Minimum (NV1 preferred).Personal Attributes: Diligent and organized with exceptional time-management skills.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.An analytical and critical thinker, outcome-focused, with strong negotiation abilities.Why Join Us?
