Santos 2025 Australian First Nations Early Career Opportunities Darwin LNG Programmed Training Services, in conjunction with our host employer Santos, are thrilled to offer multiple exciting and paid early career pathway opportunities to be based on the Darwin LNG facility. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain workplace experience whilst undertaking a traineeship towards a Certificate III level qualification, developing the skills required for an exciting career in the energy industry, involving the development of natural gas resources and associated initiatives to reduce carbon emissions. The Positions:
Certificate III Supply Chain Operations (TLI30321)
Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (MSL30122) (Environmental and Field Monitoring)
Certificate III in Information Technology (ICT30120)
These positions would suit organised and focussed individuals, who are looking to start a career in the energy industry. The positions will be full-time based at Darwin LNG, working Monday to Friday with some flexibility to your schedule. The traineeships will be a mix of hands-on practical experience and online classroom training. To be successful in this role, you will have:
A high level of attention to detail
High organisational ability
Excellent communication skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Ability to actively learn and be committed to completing a Certificate III traineeship
Have an interest in developing a long-term career in the Oil and Gas industry
In addition to the above, you must also:
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
Have a sound level of literacy and numeracy skills
Willing to undergo police and medical checks
Be able to work full-time
