Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and oversight of ground handling activities, including stakeholder management. This role has a strong focus on achieving safety, operational and financial scorecard metrics, in addition to achieving an extremely high standard of customer service.
Key responsibilities include: Participate in, manage and oversee Star Aviation's day-to-day ground handling operations, including cabin cleaning.Lead and manage operational staff to ensure appropriate oversight of daily operations through provision of general and direct guidance to the team.Performing progress and final checks and signing off airline requirements particularly in relation to loading and unloading of aircraft.Planning and utilising staff and resources effectively to ensure that schedule delivery, cost and service levels are met.Investigate delays and service failures and work with the relevant internal and external teams to resolve.Assist with the calculation of budgets and cost models.Develop and maintain relationships with key airport personnel, liaising with airport operators to ensure airport facilities meet Star Aviation's requirements. Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service)A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)A Valid Authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA)Senior First Aid CertificationHighly competent and previous experience in the operational requirements of Ground handling to perform above and below wing operations.Demonstrated achievements in managing, motivating and leading teams.Experience in developing and implementing business improvements and change management strategies.Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlinesCustomer focus to deliver exceptional serviceAbility to adapt to changing priorities and situations and working in a fast-paced team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
