What Your Day Will Look Like….
As a Social Work Assistant, you'll be at the heart of patient care, working closely with social workers to provide essential support to both patients and their families. Your role will involve assisting with paperwork, guiding patients through hospital services, and connecting them with external agencies for additional support. You'll contribute to screening assessments, participate in case management, and help patients access vital resources like emergency financial assistance or residential care options. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll attend case conferences, engage in quality improvement activities, and help mentor newer team members. Every day will bring new opportunities to make a meaningful impact across a range of care settings, ensuring your work is both varied and deeply rewarding.
