Our client is seeking a talented and dynamic Channel Partner Manager to join their team and drive the growth of their battery energy storage systems business. As the Channel Partner Manager – BESS, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers to expand market reach and drive revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling our client's business and accelerating the adoption of clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute channel partner strategies to identify, recruit, onboard, and enable new partners in key markets, including utilities, commercial and industrial sectors, and energy service companies. Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers, serving as the primary point of contact for business development, sales support, and training. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to support channel partner initiatives and drive alignment with overall business objectives. Drive partner enablement activities, including training programs, product demonstrations, and sales enablement tools, to ensure partners have the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell and support our client's BESS solutions. Develop and implement joint marketing and sales programs with channel partners to generate demand, increase brand awareness, and drive lead generation and conversion. Track and analyze channel partner performance, including sales metrics, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of partner programs. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on channel partner performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and key insights to inform strategic decision-making. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments related to battery energy storage systems and renewable energy, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and product roadmap. Represent our client at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our BESS solutions, build relationships with key stakeholders, and identify partnership opportunities. Act as a trusted advisor to channel partners, offering strategic guidance, support, and resources to help partners grow their business and achieve mutual success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Proven track record of success in channel partner management, business development, or sales roles within the energy industry, with a focus on battery energy storage systems or related technologies. Strong understanding of energy markets, including utilities, commercial and industrial sectors, and regulatory environments related to renewable energy and energy storage. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute channel partner strategies, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing market data, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to inform business strategy. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for clean energy and sustainability, and a drive to innovate and disrupt the status quo. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and results orientation.
