Full time
Working with our Sydney business, offering hybrid options full time (38 hours) Monday to Friday.
We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Network Engineer who has experience working for an IT Systems Integrator or Managed Service Provider.
This varied role focuses on providing technical support to customers including remedial maintenance support on Infrastructure, LAN and WAN Networks as well as the implementation of new projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Producing high level and low-level network infrastructure design documentation
Complying with Change Management processes
Assisting in planning, scheduling and managing network infrastructure rollouts
Implementation of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, access points
Installing and configuring management tooling
Providing on-site and remote support to customers
Providing support and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, access points
Expert knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
Recommending and assisting with the selection of relevant technologies and products for projects
Acting as an escalation point, troubleshooting, analysing, and identifying hardware and network system faults, evaluate alternative solutions, determine and implement the solution

Who we are looking for:
This is a customer-facing role which will need to have excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as being highly technical.
The role requires a large amount of autonomy, so a candidate who has good time management and organisational skills will be heavily favoured.
Technical skills required include:

Cisco Certified Network Professional or higher
Design and implementation of 802.1X using Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
You need to be an ISE expert
Enterprise level proven experience installing and configuring network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, access points
Proven experience maintaining network infrastructure, firmware updates, policy settings, security rules etc.
Experience implementing network access control
