The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic dance instructor to join our team for the upcoming production of Shrek the Musical Jr. Working with our junior campus, the role will choreograph plans and movements essential to the success of the production. Commencing 13 May 2024 working 2 days per week (Mon & Tue) 8:30am -1:00pm.
Responsibilities:
Development and implement choreography for ensemble numbers and solo pieces for lead cast members Collaborate closely with the stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of dance with other aspects of the production Provide instruction and support to students to enhance their dance skills and performance abilities Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, teamwork and self-expression About You: You have prior experience in choreography and teaching dance to children in a theatrical setting. Your interpersonal skills and collaborative demeanor is evident upon meeting you. A relevant tertiary qualification will be highly regarded.
