About the Role We are seeking a pro-active Process Worker for our Night Shift who is ready to make a positive impact at our Tamar Valley site (Invermay, TAS, 7248).
The main objective of the role is to assist in the daily operation of the packaging and/or manufacturing department, ensuring products are packed in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a quality focus.
The position is full-time, permanent, and offers great opportunities for growth.
Night shifts are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday night, and Monday to Friday night.
Responsibilities include: Packaging: assembly, machine operation, paperwork required for checks (PH testing, CCP, etc.
), palletizing packaged product at the end of the line, CIP, and use of SAP.Manufacturing: Follow standard formulation for all yogurt mixes, learn and understand the operation of various plant items such as separator, pasteurizer, cooler, among other duties.Health and Safety: Comply with all safety rules, standing for long periods of time while conducting repetitive tasks.
Within this position, you may be required to lift weights up to and no greater than 25kg and report any incidents or hazards.General Duties: Includes cleaning, replenishing materials, sanitation of the machines/factory, and ensuring all products are consistently produced at the highest quality standard.About you: Certificate in food processing would be beneficial but not essential.Previous experience working in the Dairy Industry or FMCG.Demonstrated understanding of GMP and HACCP principles.Basic numeracy skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.Our story: Ours is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the world's No.
