Location ProfileKeysborough Secondary College is a multi-campus school with one campus in Keysborough (Acacia Campus) and one in Springvale South (Banksia Campus). Both campuses offer programs for students in years 7-12 with an organisational structure arranged around Junior and Senior sub-schools.
Enrolments in the College stand at around 2300 and are growing. The College provides a broad range of VCE, VCE-VM and VET subjects for our students across the two campuses. The College also has a significant International Students Program with its own ELC.

RoleThe position of Daily Organiser/Admin Support is fulltime, ongoing and is College based, across two campuses. Hours of attendance are Monday to Friday from 7:00am - 3:06pm daily. A 6-month probationary period will apply to this role. Remuneration is in line with the VGSA2022 Education Support Class Salaries - Level 1, Range 3 commencing from $72,739 - $88,450 per annum. This position attracts a $4000 incentive payment across two years. The successful applicant will manage all Daily Organiser duties and assist the admin team when required. Experience with EdVal is desirable though not essential as training can be provided. ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position will be:
DAILY ORGANISER Management of Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) and their effective integration into the schoolAllocate each morning to cover classes and duties of absent staff either through the allocation of covers or with CRTsLiaise with teaching staff in relation to work left for classes affected by teacher absencesPrepare accurate and up to date reports to the Leadership Team on staff covers and in-lieu replacementsEnsure the Daily Operations report is up to date reflecting daily staff changes and is published in a timely mannerEnsure CRT folders are maintained and updated accurately, consistently and in a timely mannerEnsure CRT laptops are charged and ready for use on a daily basisWork with relevant staff to organise staffing for excursions, camps and other school activities; ensuring that Department guidelines regarding staff-student ratios and safety are metLiaise with PD Coordinator to help manage Professional Development daysProvide relief and assistance to the Administration Office / Receptionist as requiredHave a good understanding of a range of software applications which may include Microsoft suite, edVal and/or CompassMaintain strict confidentiality in relation to all staff operationsAdvanced level of administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamBe familiar with, and comply with, all College policies and proceduresOther duties as directed by the Business Manager, HR Manager and/or Principal Class Team.ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT Assist with lunch cover for reception when requiredProvide routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities including general telephone, front office enquiriesMaintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools IT systems, such as the school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school recordsSupport the preparation of standard routine internal and external communication according to school procedures (e.g. forms, newsletters, enrolment packs)Source basic data or factual information from given sources to support school administrative functionsLiaise with parents (when required) via phone call or email regarding their student's absences and ensure attendance data is updatedMaintain strict confidentiality in relation to all staff and student operationsAdvanced level of administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamBe familiar with, and comply with, all College policies and proceduresOther duties as directed by the Business Manager, HR Manager and/or Principal Class Team.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
