A full-time 12-month contract planner opportunity working with a well-regarded local government organisation.

Your new company

This Local Government Authority based in the northwestern region of Sydney is an exceptional council to work for. Within a 30-minute commute from the CBD, this council is located in highly modern offices easily accessible by train. The planning team is multidisciplinary and works cohesively on a number of interesting projects, and they are looking to bring on new talent to work within their fast-track team.

Your new role

As an intermediate Development Applications Planner working within the fast track team, you will be dealing with medium-density developments, including but not limited to duplexes/townhouses. You must be able to hit the ground running and work autonomously but will be part of a multidisciplinary team with a good support structure.

What you'll need to succeed

As a Statutory Planner, you will have a minimum of 2 -3 years' experience either within a Local Government Authority or State Government Authority. A tertiary qualification in Planning or related field is essential for this role.
