The role of the Aruma D365 Power Platform Administrator is integral in the management and upkeep of Microsoft's Power Platform, comprising Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, covering aspects such as governance, security, and usability. The Power Platform Administrator's role is pivotal in guaranteeing the efficient and secure utilization of Power Platform tools within the organization. They are instrumental in facilitating business users to design and automate solutions, all the while upholding governance and compliance standards.
A day in the life of a D365 Power Platform Administrator … Create, configure, and manage development, testing, and production environments, including data protection strategies (Backup).Monitor and optimize resource allocation and usage.Define and enforce security policies and access controls.Manage user access, permissions, roles, and data loss prevention policies.Monitor and audit for security compliance.Keep Power Platform and associated components up to date with the latest patches and updates.Schedule and perform release wave preview testing.Manage data sources and connectors within the Power Platform.Ensure data integrity, compliance with data governance policies, and data sharing best practices.Oversee creation, deployment, and lifecycle management of Power Apps and Power Automate flows.Implement version control and release management processes.Monitor platform usage, performance, and error logs.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to apps, flows, and data connections.Enforce governance policies, naming conventions, and design guidelines.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Monitor and optimize app and flow performance.Identify and address bottlenecks and performance issues.Plan for scalability and resource allocation based on evolving business needs.Reconcile planned capacity vs. actual capacity and provide procurement recommendations.Skills and Experience which will make you stand out… Possession of D365 certification.Proven experience as a senior operator in a D365 Power environment.Solid understanding of environment management.Demonstrated experience in data governance practices.At least 3 years + experience in a similar role.Familiarity with D365 CRM.Exposure to D365 FinOps.Experience with integrations outside of Microsoft toolsets.What we offer Genuine flexibility in this Hybrid role – work from home or combining days in the office and the balance from home.
